First AAN A320 model handed over to Dutch Minister

Recently Amsterdam Airlines had the honor to introduce itself to the Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs, Mrs. van der Hoeven. At the Minister's office in The Hague our Managing Director Jaap Horsten and shareholder Louis van Steijn discussed various economical subjects
At this successful meeting we pleasantly surprised the Minister by handing over our first Amsterdam Airlines A320 model airplane. 'I'll be sure to always keep it on a top shelf!' was her reaction.

In an open and friendly atmosphere items such as the challenge of the present global economical situation for our young and 100% Dutch company and the effects of the emission rights program for start-up airlines and fast growing companies were discussed.

The Minister was impressed by the operation we keep to maintain and that in these times we still take action to keep growing.

During the meeting Jaap and Louis surprised the Minister by handing over our first wooden scale model of our A320: the PH-AAX in the (new) Amsterdam Airlines livery.

The beautiful model immediately got a place on the top shelf in her office. 'I'll be sure to always keep it there!', she said.
