PH-AAX in C-check at Turkish Technics

After a good preparation of the Amsterdam Airlines maintenance team, the PH-AAX left in the beginning of January to Istanbul. There it currently undergoes its so called C-check.

Amsterdam Airlines obtains Class I EFB approval
This week Amsterdam Airlines received approval from the Dutch CAA to use the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Class I with the full Lufthansa Systems Lido/Flightbag suite in flight. With this approval Amsterdam Airlines is the first Dutch carrier, and most likely even the first European carrier, to receive approval to fly fully paperless this way.

Training agreement between Amsterdam Airlines and Tradewind

Last week Amsterdam Airlines and Tradewind signed a training agreement. The last week of November the first training will be given by Tradewind as part of an initial course for new cabin crew members.

Amsterdam Airlines is expanding again

Due to the current market outlook we are now gearing up to phase-in our third aircraft.
Various (long term) contracts are underway. In the beginning of 2010 the PH-AAX will also have her C-check. These items combined are enough reasons to start phasing-in our third aircraft.
